Bryn Mawr, Pa., man wins $1 million slot jackpot in Atlantic City

James Kelly, 64, of Bryn Mawr, Pa., won a $1 million jackpot Sunday at Harrah's Casino Hotel after playing for about 10 minutes on a "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine.

Kelly had been looking at real estate in nearby Brigantine when he decided to stop at the casino on his way out of Atlantic City.

"I was planning to quit the machine after this pull of the handle, and then the three 'Wheel of Fortune' symbols came up. I started shaking and was totally flabbergasted and amazed," he said.

Kelly, who owns a picture-framing boutique, took home a check for $52,929. He will get a similar one annually for the next 19 years. He plans to use the money to buy his vacation home, share some with his daughter and give some charity.

"I'll spread it around a little, but my 25-year-old daughter is my biggest charity," he said.
