Clark County firefighters are stepping up their efforts to help fire victims long after their original job is done.
Department spokesman Steve La-Sky says more than $100,000 in gifts and cash was raised for the Elizabeth Gonzalez family after she lost three small children in a fire that destroyed their home last February.
La-Sky said the department's efforts to help the Gonzalez family is just one example of work being done to help fire victims recover.
