Gamblers' Internet store launched

A Las Vegas company announced the launch of an electronic store providing gambling products over the Internet.

The site, Players General Store, is operated by Players Network. The site is being operated as an alliance with Gamblers General Store, a Las Vegas-based mail-order catalog company geared toward gaming-related products.

The site has 900 gaming-related products for sale. Players Network said it plans to offer the store through affiliates, which would derive commissions from sales through their sites.

Players Network operates a 24-hour network geared toward providing customized television programming for the gaming industry. The programming is delivered directly to hotel-casino guest rooms.
