Woman dies in rollover accident

Martha Zermeno-Landeros, 24, of Reno was eastbound on the snow-slick highway and ran off the edge of the road and into a guardrail Sunday morning.

A 42-year-old passenger, Esperanza Fierros De Rios of Sparks, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the vehicle. She was flown to Washoe Medical Center in Reno where she died.

The driver and a 21-year-old passenger were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
