Nevada teens take the A-Train to the boards

Valley teens wanting to tap into the world of theater have a chance to do so through a community theater program designed for youth ages 13 to 18.

The program, called the Arts Train Players, is sponsored by Clark County Parks and Recreation's Winchester Community Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. The group will meet from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Feb. 23.

Participants will learn techniques of improvisation, learn the history of theater, take part in a drama class and get an introduction to theater technology. The $20 registration fee includes necessary supplies, an Arts Train Players T-shirt and training.
