MWC honors UNLV shortstop

Shortstop Racheal Goodpaster earned Mountain West Conference softball Player of the Week honors after her performance during last weekend's Fiesta Bowl Tournament in Phoenix. She batted .500 (7-14) over five games with two home runs and one double for a 1.000 slugging percentage. Defensively, Goodpaster made six putouts with 18 assists and one error at the shortstop position.
