Rebels' Orris Pitcher of Week

UNLV sophomore Geney Orris received Mountain West Conference softball Pitcher of the Week honors after her performances in last week's UNLV Classic 2000. She pitched 21 1/3 innings, allowed two earned runs, and had an ERA of 0.67 over a four-game stretch. She threw three complete game shutouts in that span and struck out 20 of 81 batters. On the season, Orris has accumulated a 5-2 record and an ERA of 3.15.
