Letter: Brits appreciate polite Vegas folks

Since our return we have tried to explain to our neighbors, friends and relations what wonderful things you can see and do, and how clean and tidy the hotels and streets are. But what impressed us the most was how friendly, polite and helpful are the people, the workers and all the locals who live in Las Vegas. We hope that any of them who have been to England or are thinking of coming receive the same hospitality.

A special mention is in order to all of your cabdrivers. We have been told in England that the American cabdriver is one of the rudest in the world. Well, we cannot speak for the rest of the United States, because this was our first visit. But we met 14 drivers and all we can say is what a nice lot of guys they are.
