No big Tri-State Megabucks winner

The $2.3 jackpot included an extra $500,000 from unclaimed prizes during the year. Although no one won the big prize, anyone who matched some of the winning numbers won double the usual cash awards.

Two people who matched five of the numbers won $20,000 each. Those tickets were sold at the Eliot Country Store in Eliot, Maine, and the Irving Mainway in Ossipee.

The extra money was an annual bonus provided by the lottery commission.

The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is estimated at $3.1 million.
