Contribution to prep sports: Gallant has kept the official scorebook at three consecutive Reebok Holiday Prep Classic tournaments. Last month, he worked 32 games in a four-day span at Green Valley High School, including all four championship contests on the event's final day. "It's exciting because you see most of the games, but as the day progresses you start getting tired," admits Gallant, whose father, a local prep referee, piqued his interest in scorekeeping. "It's something I enjoy, so I've kept doing it."
