LV plumbing business sold

The parent company of Roto-Rooter Inc. said it acquired the assets of the Roto-Rooter franchise in Las Vegas.
Chemed Corp. of Cincinnati said its subsidiary acquired the business from Hoffman Southwest Corp. of Mission Viejo, Calif. The franchise employs 22 people and operates 17 trucks in the Las Vegas area. The purchase price wasn't disclosed.
Roto-Rooter is the nation's largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services.
