Vouchers available to have valley's pets spayed or neutered

To help reduce the pet overpopulation in the valley, Clark County Animal Control, Las Vegas Valley Humane Society and Animal Foundation International are distributing more than 650 vouchers valued at $20,000 for free or discounted sterilization for dogs and cats.

Twenty-two veterinary hospitals and clinics in Clark County are participating in the program by accepting county-issued sterilization vouchers and offering free or low-cost procedures during the campaign.

Las Vegas Valley Humane Society is offering free sterilizations for up to 200 cats, and through the month of January Animal Foundation Internationalis offering free sterilizations for 100 cats.
