Co-author of book to appear at stores

Cherlene Pedrick, registered nurse and co-author of "The OCD Workbook, Your Guide to Breaking Free from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" will be making an appearance at local Barnes & Noble bookstores to discuss her book and issues relating to obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Pedrick will be at Barnes & Noble, 2191 North Rainbow Blvd., 3-5 p.m. Saturday.

Other appearances will be from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., in Henderson and at 4 p.m. March 11 at Barnes & Noble, 3860 Maryland Parkway.

Pedrick, a North Las Vegas resident, co-authored the book with Dr. Bruce M. Hyman, who has a private practice in Florida and is director of the OCD Resource Center of South Florida.
