Long-time gaming executive Richard Schuetz was named chief executive officer of the Minneapolis-based advertising agency Cevette & Co. and has acquired an equity interest in the company.
Schuetz, husband of former Las Vegas major Jan Laverty Jones, has been president of Stratosphere Corp. and an executive at Grand Casinos Inc.
Jones, now a senior vice president of Harrah's Entertainment Corp. in Las Vegas, said Northwest Airlines benefits from Schuetz's appointment "since we trade weekends flying back and forth to be together."
