Home improvement chain opening Las Vegas store

Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse said its first Las Vegas store will open Friday at 7550 West Washington Ave. at Summerlin Parkway and Buffalo Drive.
Lowe's, based in Wilkesboro, N.C., has more than 560 stores in 37 states. It announced plans last year to enter the booming Las Vegas market with at least three stores.
