ID sought for body found in desert

Authorities are asking for the public's help in trying to identify a man whose body was found in a desert area near the California-Nevada border.

The victim is white, was in his mid-30s to mid-40s, 6-feet-2 inches tall and 185 pounds. He had blondish to red hair and was wearing only a pair of blue sweat pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the San Bernardino County sheriff's office in Barstow, Calif., at (760) 256-4841 or Metro Police.
