LV sex stores in lawsuit

Media Shops Inc. doing business as Adult Superstore of Las Vegas is seeking an injunction to stop a rival from using the Adult Superstore name.

In a Clark County District Court suit, Media Shops said New Images Inc. doing business as Sin City Adult Superstore allegedly tried to deceive the public into thinking the two companies are related by installing a large sign saying "Adult Superstore" next to its retail store near Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard.

Media Shops owns four Adult Superstores in Las Vegas, while New Images owns two Sin City Adult Superstores.

Sin City Adult Superstore's manager Ed Wheeler could not be reached for comment.
