The owner of a defunct Henderson pool company has been ordered to pay more than $73,000 in restitution to 11 Southern Nevada homeowners.
Esquire Pools, formerly at 3051 E. Sunset Road, closed in January 1998 without giving notice to 11 homeowners who had prepaid for swimming pools to be built, Nevada Chief Deputy Attorney General Richard Linstrom said.
A criminal complaint was filed in July 1998 against Esquire owner Charles Knoll, 62, of Florida, who was convicted Friday.
