Galen James Chaney
Galen James Chaney, 21, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born March 15, 1978, in California. A resident for one year, he was a carpet and floor installer.
He is survived by his father, Frank Chaney, his mother, Ann Helsel, and his stepfather, Allen Morris, all of California; four brothers, Gabriel Chaney of Florida and Jan Chaney, Dustin Chaney and Zachary Morris, all of California; and his grandmother, Jane Helsel of California.
Burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Kimberly A. Dienes
Kimberly A. Dienes, 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born June 19, 1963, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 10 years, she was a registered cardiovascular technician.
She is survived by one daughter, Kara Dienes, and her mother, Maryon Akers, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Johnny Akers of Merrillville, Ind.; one sister, Michelle Lill of Valparaiso, Ind.; and two friends, Shelley and Joani.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Irma Gonzalez
Irma Gonzalez, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Cuba. A resident for seven years, she was a porter at Nevada Landing hotel-casino.
She is survived by her husband, Luis B. Sr.; one daughter, Irma Gonzalez, and one son, Luis B. Gonzalez Jr., both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.
Ernest William Haney
Ernest William Haney, 75, of Las Vegas died Jan. 14 in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1924, in Oregon, Mo. A resident for 30 years, he was an assembly worker for General Motors and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie E.; and four sisters, Lucy Barger and Mildred Weyer, both of St. Joseph, Mo., Ethel Haney of San Diego and Rhona Carter of Las Vegas.

Edward F.G. Harris
Edward F.G. Harris, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was an actor, a member of Honda Riders of America, Single Action Shooters Society, National Rifle Association and Screen Actors Guild.
He is survived by his wife, Donna J.; two daughters, Kendra Harris and Krista Harris, both of Las Vegas; and his stepmother, Renah Harris of Houston.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Joseph J. Landini
Joseph J. Landini, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired businessman and a World War II Navy chief motor machinist mate.
He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Silva of Las Vegas; two sons, Richard Landini of Las Vegas and Larry Landini of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Susie Wenz and Lorraine Geisen, and one brother, Louis Landini, all of Chicago; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 12:15 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Gerald Lewis
Gerald Lewis, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1936, in New York. A resident for several years, he was a chemical engineer.
He is survived by one son, Craig Lewis of New Jersey.

George Mindorff
George Mindorff, 83, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1916, in Medford, Wis. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a World War II and Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Violet; one daughter, Dawn Abed-Rabbo of Las Vegas; one son, David Mindorff of Neenah, Wis.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Zora Palmer
Zora Palmer, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Park City, Utah. A Las Vegas resident for four years and a former resident of Rock Springs, Wyo., Sacramento and La Habra, Calif., she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one brother, John Drazovich of Las Vegas; one nephew, Robert Drazovich of Palo Alto, Calif.; one niece, Mrs. John Armstrong of Agoura Hills, Calif.; one great-niece and two great-nephews.

Joan J. Schendel
Joan J. Schendel, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Massachusetts. A resident for one year, she was a dancer.
She is survived by two daughters, Nicole of Las Vegas and Karen of Los Angeles; and one granddaughter, Ashley of Los Angeles.

Rudolph J. Ziola
Rudolph J. Ziola, 87, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1912, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired supervisor for an electrical company.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Prevendar of Oswego, Ill.; one son, Norm Ziola Sr. of Gardnerville; two sisters, Bernice Nole of Las Vegas and Catherine Fuelster of California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
