Jesse Allen

Jesse Allen, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Arkansas. A resident for 35 years, he was a city janitor.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Wanda Walker Neukam Blad

Wanda Walker Neukam Blad, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Pioche. A lifelong Nevada resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one daughter, Becky Biesinger of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one son, Roger Neukam of Las Vegas; two brothers, Craw Walker of San Manuel, Ariz., and Billy Walker of Pioche; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 9 a.m. services Thursday in the LDS Red Rock Stake Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Pioche Cemetery.

The family suggests donations to the LDS Church General Missionary Fund.

Charles A. Brozik Jr.

Charles A. Brozik Jr., 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Waseca, Minn. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired general manager of Herbst Oil Co. and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Joy M. Bilotta; one brother, Martin Brozik of Wisconsin; three sisters, Sue Monroe of California, Jane Leeper of Elko and Barbara Brozik of Atlanta; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

James Charles Coughlin Sr.

James Charles Coughlin Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 29, 1932, in Jewett City, Conn. A resident for 29 years, he was an aircraft mechanic for Trans World Airways for more than 25 years, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara K.; two sons, Timothy L. Coughlin of Henderson and James C. Coughlin Jr. of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kathleen M. Devel of Henderson and Colleen M. Wiegand of Las Vegas; four brothers, Richard Coughlin Jr., Raymond Coughlin, Robert Coughlin and Arthur Coughlin, and two sisters, Dorothy Haskell and Janice Jolin, all of Connecticut; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Lawrence Deaton

Lawrence Deaton, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Laughlin. He was born April 7, 1958, in California. A resident for six months, he owned an automotive repair shop.

He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Deaton of California.

Woodrow S. DeNomy

Woodrow S. DeNomy, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 17, 1916, in St. Louis. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired accountant for an electronics manufacturer and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Madeline.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Bonnie Johnsen

Bonnie Johnsen, 57, of Pahrump died Sunday in Chicago. She was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a cook.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Kocolowski; one daughter, Kris Dale of Pahrump; and one brother, Paul Melillo of Wisconsin.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. memorial service Thursday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., Pahrump.

Larry L. Kenyon Sr.

Larry L. Kenyon Sr., 58, of Sandy Valley died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 13, 1941, in Wooster, Ohio. A resident for one year, he was a steel worker and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; one daughter, Julie Scholl, and one son, Lee Kenyon, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Nada Creighton of Carson, Wash.; two brothers, John Kenyon of North Fort Meyers, Fla., and Ned Kenyon of West Salem, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

Thomas E. Loney

Thomas E. Loney, 64, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1935, in Detroit. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired police officer, an Army veteran and a member of the Professional Peace Officers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; three daughters, Mary Ann Soper of Perris, Calif., Eva Hibner of Henderson and Beverly Dillingham of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Loney of Torrance, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

David H. Marlatt

David H. Marlatt, 38, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 18, 1961, in San Francisco. A resident for 12 years, he was a drug and alcohol therapist.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, parents and sister.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Southern Baptist Church, P.O. Box 399, Pahrump. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Elizabeth 'Betty' Morgan

Elizabeth 'Betty' Morgan, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1911, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired federal government clerk.

She is survived by one son, Rip Taylor of Las Vegas; and four sisters.

Burial will be private. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

James Michael Murphy

James Michael Murphy, 63, of Las Vegas died Jan. 6 in Las Vegas. A resident for 34 years, he was born Dec. 17, 1937, in Oregon.

He is survived by one son, Jeffrey P. Murphy, three daughters, Wilma J. Murphy, Tina M. Richardson and Debbie Ziegler, all of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dr. Ramakant Raut

Dr. Ramakant Raut, 49, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Bombay, India. A resident for 20 years, he was a physician, a member of the American Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society and Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his parents, Damador and Sulekha Raut, one sister, Meena Chaudhari, and two brothers, Manohar Raut and Ajit Raut, all of Bombay.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Clarence Redic

Clarence Redic, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Prescott, Ariz. A resident for 42 years, he was a hotel cook.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Larry Redic of Las Vegas, Clarence Redic Jr. of Hot Springs, Ark., and Larry D. Reese of Kansas; three daughters, Romna Redic, Shiela Pratt and Sharon Redic, two stepdaughters, Aya Sweat and Afra Carter, two stepsons, Stephone Sweat and Asunti Carter, two brothers, William Redic Jr. and John Redic, and three sisters, Barbara Scurry, LeVerne Powell and Margie Wilkins, all of Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Theodore Clinton Sanders

Theodore Clinton Sanders, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1932, in New Jersey. A resident for 13 years, he was a mechanic supervisor in the aircraft industry and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marina; five sons, Wayne, Tracy, Terry, Richard and Christopher; three daughters, Maria, Anna Maria and Karen; one sister, Kathy; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Hazel E. Sands

Hazel E. Sands, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born May 28, 1917, in Ohio. A resident for nine years, she was an artist.

She is survived by her husband, John.

Florence Ann Spies

Florence Ann Spies, 64, of Las Vegas died Jan. 9 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Pennsylvania. A resident for five years, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Ann Craig.

Elizabeth Jane Spillman

Elizabeth Jane Spillman, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Fulton, N.Y. A resident for many years, she was a production clerk at Swiss Chocolate Co. in Fulton, a secretary for Dr. Arthur Head in Gouverneur, N.Y., a payroll supervisor for International Talc Co., an estate officer at Security Trust Bank in Rochester, N.Y., a financial secretary at University Methodist Church, past president of Rochester Bank Tax Association, organist of the Baptist Church in Gouverneur, past treasurer of her bowling group, played piano and was involved with various bands in the 1950s, enjoyed her family, reading, crafts and especially traveling.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Klein of Las Vegas and Elizabeth Jane Randall of Oconomowoc, Wis.; one sister, Mary Jean Riley of Chazy, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Edward M. Yozwiak

Edward M. Yozwiak, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a hospital. He was born May 7, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Stephenie King of Las Vegas, Melanie Fannin of Dayton, Ohio, and Kristina Yozwiak of Las Vegas; one sister, Marsha Croft of Cortland, Ohio; one brother, William Yozwiak of Loraine, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
