IGT's CFO resigns

RENO -- International Game Technology announced Wednesday that Maureen Mullarkey has resigned as vice president of finance, treasurer and chief financial officer.

Mullarkey's duties will be assumed by G. Thomas Baker, IGT president and chief operating officer, who served as CFO of the company until 1996. The company said it is undertaking a search for a permanent replacement.

Mullarkey resigned to become CFO of Zoho Corp., a Silicon Valley-based company that uses the Internet to create an "online hospitality marketplace" aimed at reducing hotel supply costs for the hospitality industry. Las Vegas-based Harrah's Entertainment Corp. is a minority investor in the company.
