Reno man dead in single-vehicle accident

Jeffrey McNemar, 49, was declared dead at the scene due to injuries he sustained in the single-vehicle accident, the Washoe County sheriff's office said.
The accident occurred about 12:24 a.m. Thursday on Red Rock Road near American Flats Road.
McNemar apparently was headed north on Red Rock Road when he tried to negotiate a right hand curve, crossed the centerline and tried to overcorrect. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle, the sheriff's office said.
