Body of man found in desert

A man was found dead in a desert area a couple of miles from Sam Boyd Stadium Tuesday night, Metro Police said.

The man was found near his truck by people who were four-wheeling in the area off of Tropicana Avenue about 9 a.m.

The man's identity has not been determined and the cause of death is pending an autopsy, Clark County Coroner's Office officials said.

Police suspect the man's truck may have broken down and he died from the elements.
