Charges filed in downtown apartment fire

David Swanberg, 44, is accused of setting the July 18 fire that damaged all eight units of the apartment building and left 30 people homeless.

Reno Fire Marshal Larry Farr said allegations originally implicated Swanberg's girlfriend. But he said Swanberg has now been booked into the Washoe County jail on one count of first-degree arson. His bail was set at $6,000.
