Two companies file lawsuits over picketing

Nevada Ready Mix and general contractor J. A. Tiberti filed suit in U.S. District Court Thursday. The lawsuit is in response to picketing at the Sun Coast Hotel-Casino and the Clark County Detention Center project, both of which are under construction.
Teamsters Local 631 has been picketing against Nevada Ready Mix and CSR Materials since labor contracts expired at the two concrete companies June 1.
The early days of the picketing were marred by violence at some sites.
