LandWell event to raise funds for asthma research

The seventh annual LandWell Co. Cure Asthma Golf Classic will be held Monday at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson. Proceeds benefit the Denver-based National Jewish Medical and Research Center.
Last year's tournament raised $81,000. Entry packages, which begin at $500 a golfer, include greens fees, golf cart, tee gifts, lunch, putting contest, golf clinic and dinner.
