A 67-year-old Washington state man hit a $4.2 million jackpot Monday on a quarter Wheel of Fortune game at the Sahara hotel-casino.
Laszlo Zsitvay of Mercer Island said he had invested about $80 in the machine before it hit.
"I knew I won the progressive and the lady at the next machine said the jackpot was worth four million, but I thought she meant four million quarters," Zsitvay said.
The building contractor and his wife Joann are in Las Vegas to attend her family reunion. Zsitvay, a Hungarian refugee who came to the United States in 1959, said he will use the money to accelerate the couple's retirement plans.
The jackpot follows a $235,000 ELVIS MegaJackpot win in Primm on Saturday.
