Kapua K. Anderson
Kapua K. Anderson, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Honolulu. A resident for 27 years, she was an accountant for the federal government.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Colon of Las Vegas; two sons, Sam Anderson of Virginia and Eldon Anderson of Henderson; one brother, Samuel Kaaloa of Hawaii; two sisters, Elizabeth Vidad of California and Louise Cockley of Hawaii; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
William D. Baker
William D. Baker, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Philadelphia. A resident for 45 years, he was a dealer, an Army veteran and a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of Nevada.
He is survived by two daughters, Maria Buckwalter and Donna Baker, both of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Tena Baker and Dena Ranck of Utah; his mother, Maria Carr of Nevada; one brother, Lou Baker of California; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in the LDS chapel, Viking and Sandhill roads. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Ethel B. Brodeur
Ethel B. Brodeur, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 27, 1912, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for seven years, she was a retired beautician.
She is survived by two sons, Ned Brodeur of Las Vegas and Robert Brodeur of Melbourne, Fla.; one daughter, Linda Sloan of Deltona, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Arnold T. Bunce, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1920, in Michigan. A resident for 18 years, he was an electrician, a Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah; three sons, Wayne, Vernon and Roger; one daughter, Genese; one sister, Marion; and 10 grandchildren.

Doris Beckwith Casella
Doris Beckwith Casella, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 26, 1927, in Willimantic, Conn. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Peter Casella, Charles Casella and Fiore Casella, all of Las Vegas; three daughters, Joann Smith of Santa Ana, Calif., Josie Vanucci of Las Vegas and Bernadette Cooke of Rialto, Calif.; three brothers, Russell Beckwith, Pat Beckwith and Ronald Beckwith, all of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
James Ray Copeland
James Ray Copeland, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Texas. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired security officer and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ina Faye; one daughter, Rhonda Richardson, and one son, Billy Copeland, both of Las Vegas; one sister, LaDean Hainey of Chino Valley, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

Jack Darkes, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 30, 1928, in Lebanon, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired waiter, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Culinary Union 226.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter, Callie Lynne Darkes of Alabama; one son, Michael Booker of Las Vegas; one sister, Lynne Frazier of Lebanon; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline Spear of Nevada, Darla Franklin of Indiana and Carole Jenks of Washington state; one brother, Bob Kuhn of Arizona; one sister, Margaret Mitchel of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Keith Lee Dunmore, 21, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1979, in Louisiana. A resident for many years, he was a laborer in the advertising industry.
He is survived by four children, Essynse, Eimani, Eriel and Desiree, his mother, Delores Dunmore, his father and stepmother, Charles and Wanda Dunmore, one brother, Santos Dunmore, one stepbrother, Albert Brown, and two stepsisters, Kourtney Brown and Krystal Brown, all of Las Vegas; his two grandmothers, Minnie L. Thomas of Newellton, La., and DeElla Grayson of Oakland, Calif.; and his step-grandmother, Minnie Sparks of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Wednesday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Robert N. Evans, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 27, 1939, in Reno. A lifelong resident of Nevada, he was a shipping and receiving clerk for a news agency.
He is survived by his companion, Joyce Zvenia of Las Vegas; four sons, Jeff Evans of Ventura, Calif., Jerry Evans of Carson City, Benjamin Zvenia and Daniel Zvenia, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Frank Evans of Arkansas City, Kan.; and one grandchild.

Irene Fitzgerald, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 22, 1912, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired assembler.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Kathy Trenberth of Las Vegas and Suzanne LaFlamme of Vancouver, British Columbia; and two grandsons, Patrick Carlin of Las Vegas and Curtis Carlin of Chicago.

Robert E. Fobbs, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and Retired Sergeants Association.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Robert A. Fobbs and Keith B. Fobbs, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Christophine Marshall of Chicago; one brother, Chris Martin of Maryland; many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Barbara Gomez, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1937, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, she was a legal secretary.

Allan Kersenbrock, 69, of Henderson died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born May 15, 1931, in Concordia, Kan. A resident for nine years, he was a retired regional director for the federal government and a Korean War Army and Naval Reserve veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Michael Kersenbrock of Beaverton, Ore., and David Kersenbrock of Salem, Ore.; two daughters, Kristin Kardos of Richmond, Va., and Claudia Kersenbrock-Geist of Melbourne, Fla.; his stepmother, Ruth Kersenbrock of Kailua, Hawaii; two brothers, Richard Kersenbrock of Las Vegas and Robert Kersenbrock of Livermore, Calif.; three sisters, Donna Breault of Concordia, Kan., Kathy Brown of Kamuela, Hawaii, and Lori Smith of Washington state; and four grandchildren.

Brian James Koppa, 36, of Phoenix, died June 19 in Queensland, Australia. He was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Wausau, Wis. A former Las Vegas resident, he received his bachelor of science degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He was a software engineer and a member of the finance club at the University of Wisconsin and a city-wide volleyball league.
He is survived by his parents, Lyle and Shirley Koppa of Wausau; five sisters, Pamela J. Thompson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Valerie A. Bradfish of Mosinee, Wis., Diane L. Koppa-Whitney of Las Vegas, Charlene J. Koppa-Horn of Madison, Wis., and Shelly M. Koppa of Minneapolis; three brothers, Lyle J. Koppa Jr. of Oconto Falls, Wis., Dennis A. Koppa of Eban, Ga., and Wayne A. Koppa of Minneapolis; and 12 grandchildren.

Rosemary Marzillo, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Marzillo of Henderson and John G. Marzillo of Las Vegas; and one sister, Margaret of Bonner Springs, Kan.

Frank L. Meeds Sr., 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Rock Island, Ill. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired dealer, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by one son, Frank Meeds of Prairie Village, Kan.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Merriman of New Mexico; three daughters, Jan Merriman-Smith of Las Vegas, Katie Merriman of Golden, Colo., and Victoria Sutherland of Reading, Pa.; three brothers, Donnie Merriman and Calvin Merriman, both of Arizona, and Richard Merriman of Texas; one sister, Verna Williams of Texas; and five grandchildren.
