Letter: Beware concerns of speedway

The addition of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway brings a new excitement and diversification to the valley. Has adequate consideration been given to the added stress this will foist upon our already taxed environment?

I am old enough to remember a pristine Riverside, Calif., before the advent of its speedway.
