Gwaltney to run for Board of Education

Gwaltney, 58, intends to seek the District 1B seat currently held by former Washoe County School District administrator John Gascue, who indicated he will formally announce later this week.

Gascue was appointed to the board last month after the death of Yvonne Shaw.
