Alumni association pays tribute to prof

UNLV political science professor Michael Bowers received the UNLV Alumni Association's Outstanding Faculty Award for his commitment to university students.
His classes focus on the American constitutional system, constitutional law and rights, government powers, civil rights and liberties and the judicial system.
Bowers served 11 years as the associate dean of UNLV's College of Liberal Arts.
