Rhonda D. Barrett, 36, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Nov. 16, 1963, in Bozeman, Mont.

She is survived by her father, Ron Warzeka of Belgrade, Mont.

Lloyd Carr Burton

Lloyd Carr Burton, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born June 11, 1921, in California. A resident for 14 years, he worked for a moving company.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene.

Rae Chaikin

Rae Chaikin, 74, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 28, 1925, in New York City. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney; three daughters, Jeanne Reynolds and Janet Zissel, both of Pleasanton, Calif., and Sande Kirby of Danville, Calif.; three sisters, Ada Chaikin and Helen Schonfeld, both of Las Vegas, and Dorothy Nivakoff of Delray Beach, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 8:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jason K. Ducksworth

Jason K. Ducksworth, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1972, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a supervisor for a telecommunications company.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Ducksworth of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Willie Flournoy of Mississippi and Anthony Ducksworth of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, followed by entombment at Palm Memorial Park.

Thomas 'Jay' Finnegan

Thomas "Jay" Finnegan, 52, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for three years, he was a crane operator.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl L.; one daughter, Dawn Fore, and one son, Thomas J. Finnegan Jr., both of Henderson; two sisters, Sherry Dodson of Hesperia, Calif., and Seaneen Newlan of San Bernardino, Calif.; one brother, Terry Finnegan of Green River, Utah; and five grandchildren.

Rosary will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday with services following at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Dorothy K. Fleming

Dorothy K. Fleming, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 9, 1913, in Minnesota. A resident for many years, she was a beautician.

She is survived by one brother, William Kelly of North Hollywood, Calif.

Christopher Garibay, 16, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1983, in Tucson, Ariz. A resident for two years, he was a high school student.

He is survived by his father, Fernando Garibay Jr. of Las Vegas; and his mother, Robin Garibay of Tucson.

Donald Thomas Johnson

Donald Thomas Johnson, 83, of Las Vegas died May 17 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1916, in Indiana. He was a pharmacist, a member of the Masons, Knights Templar and Scottish Rite and a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis.

He is survived by one sister, Betty McPherson of Decatur, Ala.; and one brother, Ross Johnson of Las Vegas.

Stanley John Koterba, 63, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Passaic, N.J. A resident for six years, he was a taxi driver and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Thompson and Jennifer Elvin, and his companion, Gertrude Garcia, all of Henderson; one brother, Robert Koterba of Saddle River, N.J.; one sister, Frances Koterba of Little Ferry, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Robert Clinton Leoni, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Greenfield, Calif. A resident for seven months, he was a fork lift operator for Ford Motor Co., and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Dan Leoni of Ely and Richard Leoni of Las Vegas.

He is survived by two daughters, Valorie J. Phillips of Sacramento and Vicki J. Martin of Lakewood, Calif.; three sons, Victor J. Martin of Golden Valley, Ariz., Vincent J. Martin of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Vincent A. Courrielche of Soledad, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph E.; two sons, Scott Miller of Delafield, Wis., and Bruce A. Miller of Carson City; two sisters, Mae Graef of Elmhurst, Ill., and Dixie Mattiuz of Carol Stream, Ill.; and one brother, Hugh Williamson Jr. of Carol Stream.

She is survived by three sons. Christopher D. Nunez of Sun Valley and Joseph S. Nunez and John G. Nunez, both of Las Vegas; one brother, William Lloyd Bradaric of San Diego; and three sisters, Eva Kemp of San Diego, Marion Connelly of Roseville, Calif., and Nancy Morris of Las Vegas.

Hermogena Obsuna, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 29, 1921, in the Philippines. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Severino; eight daughters, Helen Francisco, Eunice Bragais, Naomi Dacer, Anna Castillo, Loida Laab, Celestia Del Los Reyes and Lorelie Obsuna, all of the Philippines, and Abisinia Suyat of Las Vegas; one son, Abner Obsuna of Las Vegas; 41 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Charles L. Osborne, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 1, 1929, in St. Marie, Ohio. A resident for eight years, he was a retired mill worker for a rubber company and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, K.Katherine; two daughters; six sisters; three brothers; and four grandchildren.

Allen Dean Pankratz, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Henderson. A resident for two years, he was a retired warehouse foreman for a liquor distributor, a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Eagles.

He is survived by three daughters, Maureen Clark and Corinee Pankratz, both of Phoenix, and Lisa Pankratz of McCaysville, Ga.; and one sister, May of Nebraska.
