Letter: Forcing taxpayers to be charitable

Being forced to donate money for low-income electric users, via Nevada Power Co., is only a small preview of what is to come if President Bush passes his "faith-based initiative."

We will be giving part of our tax dollars to religions, even if we disagree with them, via the federal government, to hundreds of charities. This donation to charity will not be deductible from your income tax, either.
