Letter: Raid on funds continues in D.C.

I cannot comprehend how the public continues to allow the Washington politicians to raid the Social Security and Medicare funds. If it was a county, municipality, state or even a foundation, the commingling and raiding of accounts would not be allowed and in the case of a public entity, the participants would be hauled in front of a grand jury.
