Currently: After starting all 29 games a year ago, Jones has been a key reserve for the Panthers this season. The 5-9 guard has played in all 21 contests for his 11-10 squad, averaging 5.5 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 16.3 minutes-per-game. Jones is shooting .378 percent from the field and .708 from the line, heading into the Panthers' home game with rival Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday.
Looking back: One of the area's top shooters during his prep career, Jones helped lead the Wildcats to the 4A Southern Zone title and an appearance in the 4A state championship game -- where they lost to Valley -- as a senior. A first-team Sun All-State selection, he averaged 19.5 points, 4.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds during his final high school season.
