Letter: Execution is long overdue

I have lived in Las Vegas for 12 years now. Before that I lived for three years in Germany as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Before that, I was stationed in Sacramento when Gerald Gallego was convicted of killing two of his many victims. He was prosecuted in Nevada because of the belief that he would surely die for his crimes.

He killed several more victims in California, however California let him be prosecuted in Nevada because he would die for his crimes sooner. This has not happened. Why the h... not? People like him should die for his crimes. I am tired of hearing about him.

I don't want to hear any more about him until I hear he has fried in the electric chair or the gas chamber. Why waste space in your paper, because no one in Las Vegas knows who he is or what he deserves. If you do not know what to do with him, ask President Bush his opinion. I am sure he would have been taken care of in Texas by now.

Yes, I am a true believer in the death penalty. It should have been exercised several years ago in this case. Kenny Guinn, let's get rid of the murdering ... once and for all. Why are we wasting taxpayer money on someone so obviously convicted and guilty?
