Randy G. Adams-Johnston

Randy G. Adams-Johnston, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1953, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 36 years, he was a dealer.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Johnston, one brother, Robert Adams, and two sisters, Renee Johnston and Raelene Palmer, all of Las Vegas.

Private services will be Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.

Irene Barnett

Irene Barnett, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 23, 1913, in Faulkmills, Texas. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Whittenburg of Las Vegas; one son, George E. Barnett of Denver; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Valerie S. Diaz

Valerie S. Diaz, 41, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1960, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Glenmore; one son, Gareth M. Dupree, and two daughters, Valneisia M. Diaz and Amanda R. Diaz, her father, Ellie Hue Dupree, and two brothers, Hugh E. Dupree and Lodis E. Dupree, all of North Las Vegas; three sisters, Thelma Monore of Oakland, Calif., and Velma Grubbs and Birdia J. Dupree, both of North Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Portals to Glory Church of God in Christ, 2301 Comstock Drive. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

John Edward Duffy

John Edward Duffy, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Missouri. A resident for 10 years, he was a sales manager for a concrete pipe company and a veteran of the Coast Guard.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Duffy and Patrick Duffy; and one sister, Denise Dickerson.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Francisco Ferrer-Benitez

Francisco Ferrer-Benitez, 33, of Las Vegas died Jan. 29 in Las Vegas. He was born July 30, 1967, in Havana. A resident for 10 years, he was a maintenance worker for an apartment complex.

He is survived by his father, Antonio Benetiz, his mother, Olga Ferrer, and one sister, Nancy Benetiz, all of Cuba; and four brothers, Alejandro Benetiz of Las Vegas and Angel Benetiz, Fidel Benetiz and Enrique Benetiz, all of Cuba.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Julian Gomez Jr.

Julian Gomez Jr., 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 21, 1961, in Lorain, Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a cook and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, Julian Gomez III of Lorain and Ernesto Gomez of Las Vegas; one daughter, Angelica Gomez of Las Vegas; his parents, Julian and Gloria Gomez of Lorain; six sisters, Zulma Knapp of Berea, Ohio, Alicia Harder, Christine Capetillo and Elva Gomez, all of Las Vegas and Margaret Figueroa and Laurie Phillips, both of Lorain; and his grandmother, Gudelia Rivera of Puerto Rico.

Visitation is scheduled 4:30-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Willie Mae Harris

Willie Mae Harris, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A resident for 49 years, she was born Dec. 22, 1933, in Tallulah, La.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Harris, two sons, William Harris and Noel Harris, her mother, Maggie Gordon, two brothers, Herman Kyle Sr. and Curtis Gordon, and one sister, Dorrie Jenkins, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will be private.

Beverly Hernandez

Beverly Hernandez, 58, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1942, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe; four sons, Richard Hernandez, Ronald Hernandez and Robert Hernandez, all of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Raymond Hernandez of Henderson; her mother, Marie Schleski, and one sister, Betty Brown, both of Duluth, Minn.; two brothers, Terry Schleski of Denver and Tim Schleski of Los Angeles; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be in Panama City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Sharon Jackson

Sharon Jackson, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1948, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 26 years, she was a social worker for the state of California.

She is survived by her husband, Milton; two daughters, Nekisha "Tee" Jenkins and Nyiesha "Pig" Jackson, and four sons, Robin Haywood, Richard Jenkins, Johnathan Jackson and Marlon Amos, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Lillian Oliver and Katherine Garrett, both of Los Angeles and Vera Mae Armstrong and Fentress Adams, both of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will be private.

Marsha M. Krafczyk

Marsha M. Krafczyk, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 15, 1944, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 40 years, she was a retail clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Roman; three sons, Phillip James Gordon and William Paul Gordon, both of Las Vegas, and John Eugene Gordon of San Francisco; her parents, Dorothy and Victor Morley, and one brother, Michael Morley, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Donna Jean Dye of Fresno, Calif., and Sharon Rasmusson of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Darryl Noble Leavitt

Darryl Noble Leavitt, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1919, in Bunkerville. A resident for more than 40 years, he practiced dentistry and is credited with being the first orthodontist. He served as an Eagle Scout on the local Boy Scout Eagle Board of Review and was an early member of the Sheriff's Mounted Posse.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Marie Hauver; five children; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-9:45 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Friday in the St. George LDS East Stake Center, 449 South 300 East, St. George, Utah. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkerville Nevada Cemetery. Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, is handling arrangements.

Robert Anthony McCormack

Robert Anthony McCormack, 21, of Las Vegas died Sunday in San Bernardino, Calif. He was born Sept. 28, 1979, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a laborer in the construction industry and a graduate of Durango High School.

He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Susan McCormack, one sister, Sheena McCormack, his grandparents, Katherine and Gilbert McCormack and James and Nina Pascoe, all of Las Vegas; and his great-grandmother, Louise McCormack of Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Frances 'Angel' McCoy

Frances "Angel" McCoy, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1944, in Greenville, S.C. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker and a former member of the Junior Women's League.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory; two daughters, Crystal McCoy of Las Vegas and Angel Neel of Vinton, Va.; one brother, Bill Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren.

Robert Poghen

Robert Poghen, 43, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 26, 1957, in Chicago. A resident for 33 years, he was a cement mason and a member of Wings Over Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy; three sons, Jason Poghen, Robert Poghen and Christopher Poghen, his mother, Beverly Poghen, one brother, James Poghen, and one sister, Jacquie Murray, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the dry lake bed off U.S. 95. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Gordon Duvall Rayborn-Bradshaw

Gordon Duvall Rayborn-Bradshaw, 39, of Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 19, 1961, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a sanitation engineer.

He is survived by his mother, Faye Bradshaw of North Las Vegas; his father, Curtis Rayborn of Collins, Miss.; one brother, Todd Bradshaw of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Fay Leslye Bradshaw of North Las Vegas and Sheritha Bradshaw-Norris of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Linda M. Thebaut

Linda M. Thebaut, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Coldwater, Mich. A resident for four years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the medical industry.

She is survived by her husband, James; one son, Mick Adams of Romulus, N.Y.; one brother, Bertrand Sibley of Greendale, Wis.; and two grandchildren.

Mattie B. Webb

Mattie B. Webb, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1913, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her caregiver, Michelle Webb of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Susan Audrey Weiss

Susan Audrey Weiss, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 17, 1909, in Iowa. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, William Weiss and David Weiss; one sister, Mavis Paul; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Elden 'Al' Williams

Elden "Al" Williams, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 21 years, he was born June 10, 1914, in Iowa.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Williams of Michigan and Tom Williams of California; two daughters, Pam Woodrum of Las Vegas and Peggy Miller of Iowa; two sisters, Jean Swift of Texas and Georgiann Kerns of Iowa; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

John Williams

John Williams, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 1, 1935, in Indianapolis. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired technician in the communications industry, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; one daughter, Penny Williams of Henderson; one son, Andrew Williams of San Diego; one brother, Larry Williams of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.

Helen Jean Wuehle, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Thompson, Mich. A resident for five years, she was a teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin; one daughter, Michele Wuehle of Calumet, Mich.; and one son, Martin Wuehle of Tapiola, Mich.
