School counselor recommends boy, 8, for summer camp

A school counselor says one of her students would benefit from a camping experience.
The 8-year-old boy doesn't have a father figure, and his mother says he needs a chance to be in positive learning environments.
"His mother works very hard to raise two boys alone," the counselor said.
His mother says camp will also give him an opportunity to have fun and interact with other children.
