Students deserve praise for protest

I wish to commend the students who walked out of Vo-Tech High School last Friday due to the administration allowing the student who threatened to kill other students back into school.

The message of discontent has been sent loud and clear by the students. If those who are supposed to protect children fail to do so, then the children must take such a stand.

The parents standing with their children with support and protest should also be commended.
