The Consumer Credit Counseling Service, 3650 S. Decatur Blvd., Suite 32 is offering free home buyer seminars.
A Spanish version will be 5:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday and Nov. 15, while the English version will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 27 and 5:30-9:30 p.m. Monday and Nov. 19.
A Certificate of Education will be awarded to those attending all sessions. To register, call 364-0344.
The Marine Corps' 226th birthday ball
will be 5 p.m. Saturday at the Orleans hotel. Maj. Gen. Wayne E. Rollings will be the guest speaker. There will be a performance by Basic High School Marine Corps JROTC. Admission is $45. Call 368-1775.
