Letter: World-class ideas required

I think Mayor Oscar Goodman is losing touch with reality. His idea of wasting valuable land near downtown for a minor-league sports arena is not good planning.

Even worse than this is his apparent endorsement of a plan to impede traffic on Alta Drive between Valley View and Rancho Drive.

We'll remember this at election time. We are a world-class city, and we need a world-class mayor who has world-class ideas.
