Letter: El Al arms its pilots, too

In connection with Lorrie Ronan's Sept. 30 letter, "Don't put guns in pilots' hands," Ronan indicates that guns shouldn't be in the cockpit, but armed, trained professionals should be with the passengers, like El Al does.
Ronan should be informed that El Al also does arm its pilots.
