Man killed in trailer identified

A 32-year-old man who police say was killed Tuesday by his common-law wife after a weekend of abusing her was identified as Francisco Salvadore Olvera.

Metro police believe Olvera's 32-year-old wife shot and killed him in the couple's home in a trailer park on North Lamb Boulevard near Washington Avenue Tuesday about 7:50 a.m.

Police said Olvera tortured his wife for four days before she was able to shoot him.
