Ford revenue slumps, loss posted

DEARBORN, Mich. -- Ford Motor Co. reported today it lost $692 million in the third quarter as its revenue slumped 9 percent to $36.5 billion and it sold 15 percent fewer vehicles in North America.
The results were in line with Wall Street expectations.
