Letter: Grand day to honor our elders

Congratulations and many thanks to all of the casinos that observed Grandparents Day, including the Suncoast and Boulder Station, to mention a few that had bingo giveaways.

I mentioned this very important day to my granddaughter last year and she had never heard of it. Grandparents are a very important part of every child growing up.

Who deserves more attention than our elders? More business and radio stations and the media also should observe this day.
