Warner Bros. closing LV store

The Warner Bros. Studio store at the Forum Shops at Caesars on the Las Vegas Strip will close Oct. 28, as part of a nationwide closure of all of its 125 stores.

Some 44 workers and 11 managers at the Las Vegas store will be laid off.

AOL Time Warner, which became the new parent company of Burbank, Calif.-based Warner Bros. after the $106 billion merger of America Online and Time-Warner, said in January it would either sell or close all its stores, citing disappointing sales.
