Barrera-Morales postponed

A training camp injury to Marco Antonio Barrera that had placed his March 2 featherweight rematch with Erik Morales in jeopardy has forced postponement of their fight scheduled for the MGM Grand.
Barrera suffered a rib injury in sparring which will preclude him from facing Morales in their highly anticipated rematch. Morales was awarded a decision in the action-packed first fight in February 2000.
The fight is expected to be rescheduled sometime after the Oscar De La Hoya-Fernando Vargas fight May 4 at Mandalay Bay. Officials at the MGM Grand could not be reached for comment today.
