Jacinta S. Aniban

Jacinta S. Aniban, 92, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. A longtime resident, she was born Aug. 16, 1909, in the Philippines.

She is survived by five daughters, Mimi Maderazo of Las Vegas, Pablita Engle of Los Angeles, Jovita Baranda of the Philippines and Rose Aniban and Quity Aniban, both of California; one son, Praxedio Aniban, and one sister, Felisa Saavedra, both of the Philippines; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Stephen N. Barlow Jr.

Stephen N. Barlow Jr., 19, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 11, 1982, in Meriden, Conn. A resident for seven years, he was a college student and a Basic High School honor graduate.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Barlow, and one brother, Ryan Barlow, both of Henderson; his father, Stephen Barlow Sr.; and his grandparents, Siro and Ellen Ann Toffolon of Old Lyme, Conn.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Edna May Berry

Edna May Berry, 76, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 13, 1926, in Mineola, Texas. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by her husband, Dale; two daughters, Nancy Dahl and Holly Lopez, and one son, David Sanders, all of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming St., Boulder City, followed by burial in Boulder City Cemetery.

Velma F. Bondley

Velma F. Bondley, 96, of Gillette, Wyo., died Friday in Gillette. He was born Feb. 11, 1906, in Burr Oak, Kan. A former Las Vegas resident for 75 years, he was an organ and piano teacher.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Croy of Dacona, Colo., and Janet Kuster of Las Vegas; one sister, Gelene Stork of Santa Ana, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

H. Eugene Boswell

H. Eugene Boswell, 80, of Henderson died Feb. 14 in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1921, in Nephi, Utah. A resident for seven years, he was a retired high school math teacher and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Katherine Boswell of Salt Lake City; one son, Robert Boswell of Bend, Ore.; four sisters, Gladys Fredrickson of Salt Lake City, Maurine Gunn of Provo, Utah, Ruth Lambert of Hemet, Calif., and Priscilla Baird of Lancaster, Texas; three brothers, Calvin Boswell of Orem, Utah, Maurice Boswell of Fresno, Calif., and Ralph Boswell of Los Angeles; his companion, Leo Conn of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Frank Paul Brachulis

Frank Paul Brachulis, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 26, 1908, in New York. A resident for 10 years, he was an automotive mechanic.

He is survived by two sons, Tom Dosey of Spokane, Wash., and George Dosey of Las Vegas; one daughter, Trudy Dosey of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens.

Robert S. Delaney

Robert S. Delaney, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He ws born Aug. 29, 1955, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a dish washer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Laura Stark of Agoura, Calif.; and one brother, Stephen Delaney of Las Vegas.

Katie Feazell

Katie Feazell, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born May 3, 1908, in Louisiana. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Ella Thompson and Lola Broomfield, both of Los Angeles, and Barbara Branch and Dorothy Singleton, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Roosevelt Feazell of Tallulah, La., and Leo Feazell of Los Angeles; one brother, Henry Hunter Jr., of Los Angeles; one sister, Rowena Taylor of Houston; 39 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 39 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 D Street, followed by burial in Louisiana. Connie Jo Ferguson

Connie Jo Ferguson, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Michigan. A resident for 59 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Robert Ferguson Jr.; three daughters, Teresa Juarez, Tina Jodra and Linda Murray; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Rose D. Fogel

Rose D. Fogel, 80, of Las Vegas died Feb. 14 in Las Vegas. She was born May 17, 1921, in New York. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Bernard; two sons, Neil and Steven; one brother, Irving Dorenfeld; and three grandchildren.

Brandi Dawn Gullickson

Brandi Dawn Gullickson, 24, of Idaho Fall, Idaho died Tuesday in Island Park, Idaho. She was born June 17, 1977, in Sioux Falls, S.D. A former Henderson resident, she worked at a group home for the disabled, received her associates degree at Lake Area Technical Institute and graduated with her mother.

She is survived by her parents, Duane Allen and Roylene Harriet Gullickson; three brothers, Jon Duane, Nic Charles and Ron Michael Gullickson, all of Billings, Mont.; and her grandmother, Kathryn Elizabeth Gullickson of Brookings, S.D.

Services will be held Friday in Sturgis, S.D. Kinkade Funeral Chapel in South Dakota, handled arrangements.

Max Gutierrez Sr.

Max Gutierrez Sr., 94, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 20, 1907, in Albuquerque. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired landscaper.

He is survived by five daughters, Delfinia Robison, Manuela Medina, Rosie Sanchez, Martha Osborne and Angie Casillas, and one son, Fred Gutierrez, all of Las Vegas; 38 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. with a 6 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Timothy Kelly

Timothy Kelly, 51, of Las Vegas died Feb. 8 in Las Vegas. He was born May 4, 1950, in Ohio. A resident for 41 years, he was a painter, Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by three brothers, Robert, Ernest and Michael; and four sisters, Linda Bruzas of Las Vegas, Krarin, Mary and Georgia.

Betty Larson

Betty Larson, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April, 20, 1906, in Illinois. She was a telephone operator and a member of the Pioneers Club.

She is survived by one son, David Martin Larson of Las Vegas; one brother, Harry Schwartz of Long Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Flossie Logan

Flossie Logan, 94, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born June 4, 1907, in Newellton, La. A resident for many years, she was a church mother at Evergreen Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Isaac Logan Jr., of Las Vegas; three daughters, Retha J. Hawkins, Beulah Logan and Ollie Mae Johnson; 31 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 38 great-great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd., North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

George Marshall Sr.

George Marshall Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Illinois. A resident for 53 years, he was a heavy equipment operator, Air Force veteran and a member of the Masons and the NAACP.

He is survived by five sons, Robert Clay, Samuel Marshall, Artie Marshall, Jeffrey Marshall and George Marshall Jr., and two daughters, Pamela Marshall and Darlene Marshall, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Roosevelt "Jack" Marshall of Washington, D.C., Nick Marshall of South Bend, Ind., and John Marshall of Chicago; one sister, Parralle Bridge, of Chicago; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Wayne McArthur

Wayne McArthur, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 15, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for 7 1/2 years, he was a retired truck driver, Navy veteran and a president of Junction Hill Association.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J.; two sons, Kent R. McArthur of Reedsburg, Wis., and Craig A. McArthur of Hometown, Ill.; one daughter, Kimberly J. McArthur of Hometown; two brothers, Warren McArthur of Peatone, Ill., and Gary McArthur of Justice, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Carol Percival

Carol Percival, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. Born Jan. 11, 1953, in Reno, she was a salesperson.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Percival and Jesse Percival, two daughters, Abby Percival and Amy Percival, one brother, Wayne Pederson, and two sisters, Toni Johnson and Shari Pederson-Ramirez.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Marian Pond-Alpin

Marian Pond-Alpin, 65, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 27, 1936, in New York City. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her companion, Edward; two daughters, Merri Schiavone of Enterprise, Ala., and Chere Dungan of Las Vegas; one son, William J. Pond of Mastic Beach, N.Y.; her mother, Dorothy Bucher of New York; one brother, James Bucher of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Dorothy Pace of Medford, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.

Beverly Sarah Sandler

Beverly Sarah Sandler, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 5, 1927, in New York. A resident for 15 years, she was an administrative assistant for a trucking company.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; one son, Ron Sandler of New York City; one daughter, Lori Rosenberg of Irvine, Calif.; one sister, Anita Goldstein; and two grandchildren.

John J. Smith

John J. Smith, 28, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1973, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired construction laborer.

He is survived by one daughter, Zhjanee Smith, and one son, Jevon Smith, both of Las Vegas; his father, John Turner Sr. of St. Joseph, La.; three sisters, Valerie Turner of St. Joseph, Andrea Turner of Las Vegas and Tracey Turner Parker of Creedmoor, N.C.; one brother, John Turner Jr., of St. Joseph; and his grandmother, Beneva Smith of Las Vegas.

Gloria 'Tricia' Sparks

Gloria "Tricia" Sparks, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 29, 1937, in Salinas, Calif. A resident for 30 years, she was a nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheri Spruell of Las Vegas and Lanette Duplissey of Nevada; one son, Brent Welzbacker of Colorado; her parents, Carl and Beulah Sparks of Las Vegas; four brothers, Carl Sparks of Geneva, Switzerland, and David Sparks, Danny Sparks and Tim Sparks, all of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James Edward Stacy, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 18, 1940, in Kentucky. A resident for 17 years, he was a chef and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda A.; one son, Niles; two daughters, Creta and Dallas; and seven grandchildren.

Matthew J. Sullivan

Matthew J. Sullivan, 40, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 1961, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a sales representative for a plumbing supply company.

He is survived by one daughter, Kaitlin Sullivan of Huron, Ohio; his parents, Tony and Cathy Sullivan of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Colleen Lentz of Chino Hills, Calif., and Toni Lynn Phillips of North Las Vegas; and two brothers, Brian Sullivan of North Las Vegas and Mike Sullivan of De Soto, Texas.

Cesareo Vencebi

Cesareo Vencebi, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. A resident for six years, he was a hotel porter.

He is survived by his wife, Josefa; six sons, Manfred Vencebi of Puerto Rico, David Vencebi, Hector Vencebi and Cesar A. Vencebi, all of Los Angeles and Victor Vencebi and Rafael Vencebi, both of New York; one daughter, Mary Vencebi-Rivera of Las Vegas; and one sister, Patricia Vencebi of New York.

Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Constance Williams

Constance Williams, 59, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1942, in St. Clair, Mich. A resident for 20 years, she was a real estate sales associate.

She is survived by one daughter, Dawn Wood of Henderson; three sons, Michael Wood of Mesa, Ariz., Matthew Wood of Las Vegas of Don Williams III of Seattle; her mother, Alice Mayhew of St. Clair, Mich., two sisters, Jill Speagle of Marysville, Mich., and Jackie Berg of East China, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

No services are scheduled. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Audrey A. Wickman

Audrey A. Wickman, 98, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1903, in Strunk, Ky. A resident for 70 years, she was a retired owner and operator of a greeting card company and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 18, Mesquite Club, Salvation Army Auxiliary and Daughters of the Nile El Giza Temple 139.

She is survived by one daughter, Audrey Swenson of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be private.

Frank Winkle

Frank Winkle, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 5, 1944, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired fireman for 31 years, and a Vietnam Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; one daughter, Anissa Fuqua of California; two sons, R.J. Fuqua and Sal Solis, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Irene Henderson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Laura Solis of Clearlake, Calif., and Jan Stumpf and Shirley Barton, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Joe Winkle of Hurricane, Utah, Ken Winkle of Las Vegas and Gerald Winkle and Sherl Winkle, both of Clearlake.
