Tribe expanding, replacing casino

KAMIAH, Idaho -- With its highway location and the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial expected to bring in tourists, Nez Perce tribal officials say their new casino in Northern Idaho should be more profitable than ever.
The old It'se Ye Ye Bingo and Casino closed last month and the current building -- the former Nez Perce Express convenience store -- has undergone a $1 million renovation since August.
