Anna Marie BJune, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Louis A.; one son, Robert L. BJune of Lake Jackson, Texas; two sisters, Candida Lombardi of New York and Mackie Sapienza of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Wanda L. Brumfield

Wanda L. Brumfield, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 18, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for six years, she was a retired secretary, a member of the Gainesville, Ga., Chorale and a church organist for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; three daughters, Diana Toman of Overland Park, Kan., and April Dinkins of Braselton, Ga., and Susan Kay of Orlando, Fla.; one son, David Brumfield of Acworth, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy Wiles of Rowlett, Texas; 10 grandchildren and six grandchildren.

James V. Carmichael

James V. Carmichael, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 21 years, he was a department store truck driver and supervisor, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion and World War II Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Florence P.; one daughter, Mary P. Gotchy of Las Vegas; one sister, Ruth Breitenbach of Carnegie, Pa.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

H. Joan Chisum

H. Joan Chisum, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in New Jersey. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Las Vegas Bottle and Antique Club, Stepping Seniors Dance Group, Las Vegas Gem Club and Las Vegas Cactus Club.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; one daughter, Sandy Barkis Crawford; one son, A.J. Barkis; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 12:30 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Ida Cooperman

Ida Cooperman, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 17, 1916, in New York City. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired bank stock transfer clerk.

She is survived by one daughter, Carla Meddaugh of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one son, Michael Cooperman of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Julie Ehrich of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Goldberg of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and one grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Steven D. Drudge

Steven D. Drudge, 31, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born June 17, 1970, in Pontiac, Mich. A resident for 16 years, he was a paving company owner.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his mother, Jan Redington of Boulder City; his father, Bob Drudge of Sterling Heights, Mich.; one sister, Sherrine Carder of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Scott Cole of Nashville, Tenn., and Tony Cole of Henderson.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Abbott Elkind

Abbott Elkind, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 11 years, he was a millwork contractor, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan Elkind-Smith of Sandwich, Mass.; one son, Mark Elkind of Henderson; his mother, Rose Elkind, and one brother, Clark Elkind, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Joy Siegel of Lexington, Mass.; and one grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Wendell Erickson

Wendell Erickson, 77, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1924, in Idaho. A resident for nine months, he was an auditor and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margarette.

Sally Eubank, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Lindsay, Okla. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Bruce Eubank, and one daughter, Charla Eubank, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Mildred Frances Fitzmeyer

Mildred Frances Fitzmeyer, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1908, in Massachusetts. A resident for one year, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Fitzmeyer Wallace; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Maria M. Griego, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1949, in Mexico City. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired hospital pharmacy technician.

She is survived by her husband, Orlando Sr.; two daughters, Cynthia Sproul and April M. Buck, one son, Orlando E. Griego Jr., her mother, Caroline Otterness, and five brothers, Reynaldo M. Salas, Jesse M. Salas, Greg M. Salas, Steven M. Salas and John M. Salas, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Rosario Brambila of San Diego; one stepbrother, Mauricio V. Morales of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Betty K. Grossman, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 5, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for three months, she was a retired secretary for a legal firm.

Charlie Mae Johnson, 77, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Grandfield, Okla. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired MGM Grand hotel inspectress.

She is survived by one sister, Lavonia Sedberry of Marina Valley, Calif.

Mary Kaczka, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 31, 1919, in East Chicago, Ind. A resident for 12 years, she was a hospital food preparer.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan Kaczka, and one son, Leonard G. Kaczka, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Ted Wojtowicz of East Chicago, Ind.

Richard King, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Arkansas. A resident for five years, he was a regional director for the United Negro College Fund.

He is survived by one sister, Emma Ballou of Chicago.

Peter W. Kopp

Peter W. Kopp, 50, of Las Vegas died Jan. 13 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 4, 1951, in New Jersey. A resident for 45 years, he was a coin-room attendant.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; one stepson, Eddie, and his father and stepmother, Walter and Hadley, all of Las Vegas.

Albin F. Krynicki, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born March 1, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired general foreman for a steel mill, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one daughter, Paula Krynicki-Herwig of Las Vegas; one son, James P. Krynicki of Yucaipa, Calif.; one sister, Jane Wilk of Calumet City, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Elenora Lanning

Elenora Lanning, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 3, 1919, in New Orleans. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired telephone operator and active at the Blind Center.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Fernando Lopez, 57, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born May 3, 1944, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 13 years, he was a chemical operator for an oil company and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira; two daughters, Jeanette Shur of Seattle and Silvia Rice of Rochester, N.Y.; three brothers, Enriquez Lopez and Angelo Lopez, both of Puerto Rico and Basilio Lopez of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.

Kathleen Lund, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Brisbane, Australia. A resident for 46 years, she was a medical assistant in a doctor's office for 10 years.

She is survived by two sons, John Lund of Indianapolis and Clifton Lund Jr. of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dona Wade of Las Vegas; and one sister, Veronica Dougherty of Brisbane.

James Joseph Mullin, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, a member of the Moose, Elks, Masons and IUOE Local 12.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Lee; four daughters, Ann Maloney of Hanover, Ind., Sharon Mattson and Terry Darlington, both of Morris, Ill., and Dolores Batyske of Las Vegas; one son, James Mullin Jr. of Morris; and seven grandchildren.

Thomas Edward Palmieri, 85, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired insurance agent and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Diane Florido of Chatsworth, Calif.; one son, Thomas E. Palmieri Jr. of Henderson; one brother, Vincent Palmieri of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; one son, Samuel Ray Perkins, and one stepdaughter, Miranda A. Wilson, both of Las Vegas; his mother and her husband, Karen E. and Michael R. Masser of Aumsville, Ore.; her father, Richard R. Perkins, and one brother, Raymond J. Perkins, both of Bend, Ore.

Samuel Earle Perkins, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 5, 1913, in Illinois. A resident for 22 years, he was a Merchant Marine, a World War II veteran and was the first mate on a fuel tanker.

He is survived by his guardian, Vernon Lucas.

Owen H. Reed, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Hyannis, Neb. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired air force chief master sergeant, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a China, Burma and India veteran, a member of the 58th Bomb Wing, 28th Wing Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Air Force Sergeant's Association and National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Ada; one stepdaughter, Kathy Reily of Las Vegas; and one brother, Earl Reed of Casper, Wyo.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11:30 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

She is survived by two sons, Evan Deon Schimbeck of Washington, Utah, and John Schimbeck of Henderson; two daughters, Linda Schimbeck of Washington and Joann Schimbeck of Henderson; and two brothers, Doyle Jones and Ivan Jones, both of Washington; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Ryanne Madyson Snow, an infant, died Monday, her date of birth, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Vivian Snow Jr., one brother, Anthony, and one sister, Kassaundra, all of Las Vegas; her grandparents, Bertha Covarrubias of Las Vegas, Pennie Snow of California and Gary Snow Sr. of New Mexico; and her great-grandparents, Deloris and Bud Peterson of Las Vegas.

Viola Eclipse Valentine, 87, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1914, in Minneapolis. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker and a longtime volunteer.

She is survived by one son, Bob Valentine, and two daughters, Judy Foster and Kathy Kerr, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her parents, Jeanenne and Dave Welles of Henderson; one brother, David Curtis Welles of Las Vegas; and one sister, Renee Welles-Faulkner of Truckee, Calif.

Helen Williams, 70, of Pahrump died Friday in Pahrump. She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 15 years, she was a hairdresser for 22 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard D.; and one brother, John Gliptic of Pennsylvania.

Park L. Yee, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 10, 1916, in Canton, China. A resident for two years, he was a retired restaurateur, a World War II Army veteran and a lifelong member of Suey Sing Association.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandra L. Wells of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
